• How much does a survey cost?
• There are no set fees for a survey. Survey estimates vary depending on a number of factors such as the size of the parcel, the terrain, the location and the level of detail required etc., so it is difficult to estimate exact fees in advance. Otte & Dwyer does offer a free estimate for all of its services. Please contact our office to discuss your surveying needs.
• Why do I need a survey?
• You need to have a survey done anytime you have boundary changes or subdivision of land.  Most cities/towns require survey plans for new construction and additions to existing buildings.  Erection of fences, pools and landscaping and tree removal a survey should be considered to be sure that you working within your boundaries and applicable zoning lines.  Don't take for granted that you know where your boundary lines are.
